JPM confirms Msigwa as ‘Ikulu’ Communication Chief
President John Magufuli confirmed today Mr Gerson Msigwa to a Director of Presidential Communication position.
A press statement issued by the State House Permanent Secretary Mr Peter Ilomo said Mr Msigwa has been confirmed from August 31 this year.
Mr Msigwa was appointed Acting Director of Presidential Communication from November 17, 2015.
He becomes the third director since the establishment of the unit by former president Benjamin Mkapa.
The former Directors include Ambassador Peter Allan Kallaghe and Mr Salva Rweyemamu who saved during third and fourth phase governments respectively.
