Kanye West Spends Ksh 51,000 a day on Hair Cuts

You won’t believe this, Kanye West spends $182,500 (about Sh18, 677,871) a year on haircuts, according to Rihanna’s father. 

On a day he coughs up a tune of up to sh 51, 000 just on haircuts! Rihanna’s dad Ronald Fenty – who travelled with Rihanna and West during their joint tour in 2010 – recently made the claim to Heat magazine. 

“It is crazy — Kanye gets a haircut every day,” he said, adding: “He pays his barber USD 500 (Ksh 51,000) a time. I don’t understand how that much hair gets taken off. Kanye just loves the fresh look.”  

The man with the high-pressure job of cutting West’s hair, told the publication he moved to New York from Chicago at the rapper’s request. 

Kanye had told him he did not feel comfortable getting other people shave his head. 

 “Whenever he was wearing (his) orange hat, it meant he had gotten a cut in New York City (NYC),” Ibn laughed. “He asked me to move to NYC and I told him, ‘When you can pay me what I make in the shop, then I’ll move’.”
